AM General is hiring Quality Operators to support our JLTV A2 Launch. AM General Hourly employees are represented by the UAW and together the Company and the Union strive to create a working environment that supports and develops it workforce.

Requirements & Skills:

Must be able to work on a contract basis for the first 30 days. That time will be credited toward any benefits with a time worked requirement

Must have stable work history

Must be able to read and follow standardized work and job instructions

Must be able to read, write legibly, perform basic math

Must have intermediate level computer skills

Must have strong attention to detail

May be required to drive vehicle

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Maintain regular attendance and punctuality

Communicate effectively with other employees and management

May be required to learn multiple jobs

Shift start time 5:00 am

Primary Duties Include:

Will inspect parts, vehicles or sub assemblies for noncomformances

Will confirm quality of work performed

Will record contract and label requirements

Record all required inspections with speed, accuracy and efficiency

Works and communicates with other employees and groups

Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with safety rules

Maintain clean working environment

These wages reflect the JLTV start up wages. They will increase annually and there is opportunity to move into other programs with seniority
