AWS cloud engineer with Terraform

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an AWS cloud engineer with Terraform for a Contract job with a client in Pennington, NJ/Charlotte, NC(Hybrid). You will lead the design and implementation of complex cloud infrastructure solutions and ensure seamless integration across systems and subsystems.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AWS cloud engineer with Terraform job responsibilities include:

Design, develop, and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.

Lead complex system engineering activities, including integration of subsystems and ensuring hardware/software compatibility.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of cloud environments.

Act as a subject matter expert, communicating technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.

Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering and infrastructure automation.

Proven expertise in designing and deploying AWS infrastructure using Terraform.

Strong ability to lead complex cloud projects and communicate technical solutions across technical and executive audiences.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
