Permanent Full-Time Position - Reports to Head of Procurement
Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager/Legal Support Professional for a permanent, full-time position to join their procurement/contracts team. This role requires a seasoned professional who can work independently while maintaining strong collaborative relationships across all organizational levels.
Primary Responsibilities:
Contract Management & Review
Draft, review, redline, and negotiate a wide variety of agreements including vendor contracts, IT agreements, SaaS agreements, consignment agreements, procurement contracts, and NDAs
Manage complete contract lifecycle from initiation through execution and renewal
Identify and flag critical terms including indemnification clauses, liability provisions, and risk factors
Provide clear recommendations on contract terms and business implications
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Partner effectively with Procurement, IT, Marketing, Finance, and other key stakeholders
Support leadership in contract strategy and risk assessment
Communicate complex legal concepts in accessible business terms
Maintain responsive communication with internal clients across all departments
Technology & Process Management
Utilize contract management systems (Contract Works, Adobe, DocuSign) for tracking and administration
Ensure accurate contract database maintenance and compliance monitoring
Manage contract renewals, expirations, and key milestone tracking
Support process improvements and best practice implementation
Qualifications:
Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree preferred
8+ years of comprehensive contract management experience
Proven track record working with diverse contract types in corporate environment
Experience with vendor agreements, technology contracts, and procurement arrangements
Technical Skills
Proficiency with contract management platforms and document management systems
Strong redlining and negotiation capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel)
