Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will perform in-process and final product testing to ensure compliance with quality standards. During training, the technician will work closely with the Senior Quality Inspector, gaining hands-on experience with inspection techniques, tools, and testing methods. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our products and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessment testing on in-process and finished device products per established quality documentation and procedures.

Evaluate test results to determine compliance to specifications.

Identify and communicate any quality issues or deviations that may affect product integrity.

Perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments to ensure test accuracy.

Work collaboratively to identify Lean Manufacturing opportunities and propose process improvement solutions.

Follow standard operating procedures and support GMP/ISO-compliant practices.

During Training:

Work under the guidance of a Senior Quality Inspector to:

Inspect incoming materials, packaging, and labeling components.

Conduct final product testing using advanced inspection tools and methods.

Understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.

Utilize computer systems to enter, track, and report quality data across multiple databases.

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Basic understanding of statistical analysis methods.

Open to learning and applying Lean Manufacturing or DBS (Client Business System) tools.

Ability to follow detailed written instructions and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years of experience in a lab or manufacturing quality control setting.

Experience working in a diagnostic medical lab or regulated manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with quality systems, GMP, ISO standards, and electronic documentation platforms.
