User Study Researcher

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a User Study Researcher for a Contract job with a client in Cupertino, CA(Hybrid). You will be responsible for developing device validation protocols and ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and clinical research methodologies.

Rate Range: $75/hour to $80/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

User Study Researcher job responsibilities include:

Design and execute clinical or engineering studies to evaluate medical or wearable devices.

Develop and implement device validation protocols in alignment with regulatory and industry standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure study objectives and timelines are met.

Analyze study data and generate reports to support product development and regulatory submissions.

Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) throughout the research process.

Apply human factors principles to improve device usability and user experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in biomedical engineering, clinical research, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical or engineering study design and device validation.

Proven experience in developing and executing device validation protocols within the medical device or health tech industry.

Familiarity with FDA regulatory standards (e.g., 510k) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Pay Details: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour
