Program Accountant - Temp to Perm
Location: On-Site in Madison, MS
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $28- $33 per hour (based on experience)
Our dynamic organization is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program Accountant to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. Reporting directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager, you will primarily support our recently acquired TTS Division while also contributing to various other accounting functions as needed. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to the financial success of our growing company. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate accounting records, analyzing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
0-2 years of related accounting experience.
0-2 years of experience in General Ledger accounting; Government Contract accounting experience is a plus.
Familiarity with SAP and strong Excel skills are preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail and proven problem-solving abilities.

Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a public trust position, if required for this role.
Ability to work weekends, other shifts, and overtime as needed.
Occasional travel may be required.
Must adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and management instructions.

Responsibilities
Conduct program-level ASC 606 Revenue Recognition analysis and prepare supporting documentation.
Perform program Profit & Loss analysis to provide insights into financial performance.
Participate in month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Create and manage projects within the company's ERP system.
Provide support for internal and external audits.
Utilize the company's ERP system to perform monthly account reconciliations.
Maintain accurate program-level General Ledger versus Subledger details.
Create and process journal entries as necessary.
Identify and resolve accounting anomalies and discrepancies effectively.
Uphold the highest ethical personal and professional standards in all activities.
Undertake other projects and initiatives as assigned.
Adhere to all company rules and regulations.
