CNC Programmer

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fulltime CNC Programmer with expertise in 5-axis milling to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machining processes to ensure precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize CNC programs for 5-axis milling machines using Mastercam.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create accurate machining paths.

Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials including aluminum, stainless steel and titanium.

Collaborate with machinists and engineers to improve manufacturing processes and reduce cycle times.

Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise.

Qualifications & Skills:

3+ years of experience in CNC programming for 5-axis milling.

Proficiency in Mastercam.

Strong understanding of GD&T, AS9100 standards, and precision machining.

Ability to work with tight tolerances and complex geometries.

Experience with fixture design and work holding solutions.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Shift:

4/10 Schedule Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm
