Filta Technicians play a critical role in delivering high-quality, sustainable kitchen solutions to our customers. We seek hardworking, reliable, and customer-focused individuals who take pride in their work and align with our mission of making kitchens faster, cleaner, safer, and greener. We provide a mobile on-site service for the micro-filtration of cooking oil, the vacuum-based cleaning of deep fryers, and full fryer management to restaurants, hotels, colleges… in fact, wherever food is fried.
Job Details:
The primary responsibility of our Commercial Cleaner is to safely and efficiently provide cleaning for our commercial customers. FiltaClean is a detailed cleaning service utilizing a steam cleaner and approved cleaning supplies designed to meet the current and future deep cleaning demand within the commercial kitchen industry. The nature of the service is to provide on-site detailed cleaning solutions for clients ranging from individual pieces of kitchen equipment to entire kitchen/restaurant facilities and beyond. By providing weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, or yearly cleaning solutions, Filta offers yet another environmentally friendly kitchen solution for our customers.
To provide mobile fryer management services to a few of our large summer venues in their commercial kitchen on an established route. To operate the van, portable filtration unit, and related equipment safely and efficiently. Works hard and takes pride in project completion while providing exceptional customer service, representing the Filta brand in a safe working environment.
Key Expectations:
Conduct one-time and/or regular cleaning of restaurants and large facilities
Provide friendly, high-quality customer service
Follow the assigned schedule and be on time for appointments
Communicate effectively with customers and management
Perform daily and weekly care and preventative maintenance of all cleaning equipment including company vehicles
Maintain service records for each customer
Complete daily service records and submit to management
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and wear required PPE gear provided
Assure compliance with franchise standards/policies
Education and Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. minimum requirement
Valid driver's license, three-year driving history, and clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents for last 3 years)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in non-climate-controlled conditions
Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse
Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required
This position requires the ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, reach at or below shoulder level, gross manipulation, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb ramps or stairs, climb ladders, utilize near and far visual activity, and lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
Discipline to work independently and in a small team with minimal supervision
Ability to establish credibility and communicate effectively
Initiative to learn and to stay up to date on the latest service procedures
Must have a smartphone capable of downloading the company app to complete service jobs and clock in/out
Ability to see information in print and/or electronically
Ability to complete services that require lifting, bending, standing, walking, driving, reaching, stooping/kneeling, talking, hearing, and handling objects with hands
Reporting:
Technicians must log client notes on the Kitchen poster after each visit.
Technicians will leave an invoice after each service or complete a service log for the customer’s signature.
Weekly meeting with the assigned supervisor.
Report any issues with Van or equipment immediately to your supervisor.
All Accidents and Spills must be reported to Franchise Owner immediately
Additional Information:
Training will be provided as needed to ensure you are well-equipped to perform your duties effectively.
Free company shirts and hats. (Shoes and Dickies pants need to be purchased.)
Compensation: $20/hour (Training Period. $23/hour. $25/hour (6 month completion)
