Part time delivery driver

Job Description

This position is responsible for the delivery of office supplies/furniture and related products to customers in the North Georgia area. The work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 7:00-4:00+. Additional hours could be possible as staffing and workload permit.

Responsibilities:

Ability to load, secure, and unload product safely, and maintain a route schedule

Communicate with fellow route drivers to balance loads, if needed

Provide exemplary customer service

Safely operate the company vehicle and deliver products in a timely manner

Develop a relationship with customers that ensures customer retention and customer loyalty

Maintain a safe and clean work area, both the vehicle and the warehouse

Use company-provided tablet to track delivery route and acquire signatures for deliveries and pickups

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Basic computer/data entry skills and math abilities.

Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Exceptional customer service oriented

Must have, and provide a copy of, clean MVR

Ability to pass Dept. of Transportation physical, drug screening and meet Company Driver Qualification Policy.

Must be able to lift up to 75lbs

Experience driving a 16-26ft box truck a plus.Company Description
