QA/QC Lab Technician

Job Description

Employee is responsible for following all QHSSE(Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Env.) policies and procedures which includes, but is not limited to: Attend scheduled safety training, follow housekeeping requirements, place waste in designated containers, clean up spills; follow operating procedures, and immediately report any injuries or incidents to the supervisor.

Position Purpose

To provide analytical support and technical assistance for all quality aspects for products formulated and packaged at the Pasadena Site.

Main Accountabilities

Major tasks and responsibilities of position

Conduct day to day sample releases in the laboratory.

Provide timely and accurate analytical support to internal customers.

Implement chemical analytical methods and procedures to ensure conformance to corporate and regulatory requirements.

Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of lab equipment and plant as required

Communicate analytical information to managers and production personnel

Monitor use and inventory of laboratory chemicals and supplies

Schedule and expedite needs from Production, Production Planning, Distribution, and HESS

Maintain and audit laboratory documentation as needed

Enter data into SAP system

Shift:

6:45 am to 3:30 mainly and must be able to cover 3:30 pm to 11:45 pm shift when needed. We need flexibility.Company Description
