Full-Time Leadership Role in Lumber Manufacturing

Are you a proven leader in softwood lumber production? Have you supervised high-output sawmill operations with a focus on safety, productivity, and quality?

An established, high-volume lumber manufacturer is seeking a Sawmill Supervisor to lead daily operations in one of its mid-size sawmill facilities. This role is responsible for driving production, ensuring safety compliance, minimizing downtime, and mentoring a skilled team of sawmill operators.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage sawmill staff with a hands-on approach

Enforce safety policies and champion a safety-first culture

Analyze production data, quality, and efficiency metrics

Troubleshoot issues and make real-time production decisions

Train, coach, and develop team members

Coordinate daily activities with other department leads

Support continuous improvement and lean practices What We're Looking For:

Previous supervisory experience in a softwood sawmill or high-volume lumber mill

Strong understanding of lumber manufacturing processes and machinery

Solid communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Computer literate with data-driven decision-making capability
