Brayco Inc. is a General Contractor that is currently seeking an experienced Iron Worker who can install beams, columns, steel stairs, railings, metal decking, and Bar joists. Brayco Inc. Is an actively growing company and offers growth opportunities. We are looking for a full-time candidate to grow with the company. The position is for field construction of steel walkways, catwalks, buildings, and other miscellaneous steel. We are looking for a well-rounded experienced Iron Worker. We are looking for someone who is driven and would like to work their way up into a foreman or supervisor position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Install structural steel components including beams, columns, walkways, stairs, railings, and decking

Perform steel erection and modifications in various field environments

Execute D1.1 SMAW welding (must pass weld test or hold an active qualification)

Cut metal using torches and operate related equipment

Work safely at elevations and in active construction environments

Conduct general terminal maintenance and steel installation in tank farms (a plus)

Support various general construction projects as assigned

Exhibit leadership on-site and assist with team coordination Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in steel construction and welding

Active D1.1 SMAW welding qualification or ability to pass weld test

Valid driver's license

TWIC card or ability to obtain one

Strong knowledge of steel erection and general construction practices

Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions Preferred Skills:

Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Willingness to work overtime when needed

Organized and efficient with good time management

Natural team player and effective communicator

Leadership ability and desire to move into a foreman or supervisor role Benefits:
