Resource Development Coordinator VISTA (BCCC)

Rural Health Network SCNY (RHN)'s mission is to advance the health and well-being of rural people and communities. The RHN VISTA program, Rural Health Service Corps, will seek to eliminate poverty in the proposed service areas, and expects to benefit program participants, community members, and host organizations. Twenty VISTA members total will contribute to the goals of the project by performing activities such as strategic planning, research, grant writing, training, volunteer management, and coalition building over the course of the next year.

Member Duties : The Broome County Council of Churches (the Council) Development Coordinator will have a lead role in resource development efforts to support healthy futures through fundraising efforts to eliminate food insecurity, ensure older adults are safe and able to remain in their homes and to a lesser extent support the efforts of our jail and hospital programming to work with hospitalized and currently incarcerated and recently released residents in Broome County.
