Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer shall provide security oversight for accounts, credentials, and accesses on information systems in accordance with the management direction and policy regulations. • Provide privileged user oversight • Reviews requests for privileged access to ensure they meet the security and policy requirements• Enforce cybersecurity training requirements • Enforce clearance requirements for accounts and accesses

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with access control methods including Active Directory, LDAP, access control mechanisms in cloud platforms, and NTFS.

• Demonstrated experience with access management on information systems.

• Demonstrated ability to work with administrators at all levels to ensure security policy is being followed.

• Demonstrated superior critical thinking skills and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated good security practices when handling sensitive security information.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Demonstrated experience with policies and regulations related to accounts, accesses, Public Key Infrastructure, removable media, and privileged user oversight.• Demonstrated experience with data analytics.• Demonstrated experience with mechanisms for restricting access to removable media on information systems.• Demonstrated experience with multi-factor authentication technologies.• Demonstrated experience processing requests for user PKI certificates.• Demonstrated experience supporting multi-factor authentication.• Demonstrated experience vetting requests for privileged access against eligibility requirements and to determine proper justification.
