ADMINISTRATIVE & DATA ENTRY CLERK

JOB SUMMARY:

The Administrative Clerk performs a variety of clerical, record keeping, data entry and customer service tasks to assist with the smooth operation of the organization. In addition, the Administrative Clerk performs diverse clerical, technical, and administrative tasks that require knowledge of office procedures and computer skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Processing presumptive eligibility, indexing, performing frontline clerical support such as answering a main phone line, opening and sorting mail, preparing outgoing mail, certified mail, scanning and electronic faxing. Duties also include processing provider documentation and communicating with providers via email and phone, .and other duties as assigned.

Training will be provided on specialty software and data systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

No specialized skills or certifications required. Must have computer experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

COMPENSATION

We will pay an hourly rate that is commensurate to experience
