SUMMARY

iFIT's vision is to create the world's most holistic health and fitness platform, integrating all elements of health - physical fitness, mental health, nutrition and active recovery - into a seamless interactive experience. We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their individual fitness journey.

We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a Director, Quality Assurance Testing based in Logan, UT.

ROLE COMMITMENTS

Lead and scale a world-class QA and test automation organization across iFIT's suite of products-including connected fitness equipment, mobile apps, TV apps, and commercial platforms-supporting over 1 million monthly active users.

Build and champion a quality-first culture across engineering, product, and customer experience teams.

Drive strategic planning and execution of testing infrastructure and automation systems.

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Member Care to define quality KPIs and release criteria.

Maintain high standards in test coverage, speed, and reliability through CI/CD and modern testing frameworks.

Support both manual and automated testing efforts for physical devices, embedded systems, and cloud services.

Lead and develop a high-performing team of QA engineers and automation specialists. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the quality strategy and execution across multiple consumer-facing platforms.

Define test plans, validation protocols, and release schedules for new features and hardware launches.

Manage QA operations for mobile (iOS/Android), TV (Roku, Amazon TV, Apple TV, Google TV), commercial, and embedded systems.

Maintain and evolve the automated test lab located in Logan, Utah-enabling continuous validation across device types and firmware versions.

Build frameworks to test hardware/software interactions under real-world fitness use cases.

Guide defect triage processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.

Work cross-functionally with senior leaders to ensure quality aligns with business goals.

Mentor team members and create growth opportunities through training, tools, and best practices.

Education and Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

7+ years of experience in software QA, including at least 3 years leading QA or test automation teams.

Demonstrated success managing test strategies for consumer-facing hardware and mobile software products.

Expertise with test automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies for both hardware and software.

Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience testing IoT devices or connected fitness products.

Familiarity with performance testing and telemetry validation.

Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

ISTQB or similar QA certification is a plus.
