FLOOR TECH

Applicant must be able to perform a variety of custodian and housecleaning functions under specific instructions and with very little need for individual judgment in working out problems. Adapted to repetitive cleaning operations throughout the workday. Will have to be cross-trained between housekeeping and laundry shifts. Any and all other duties that the Environmental Services Manager may assign.

Job Duties:

Unload deliveries from semi trailers and assist with moving shipments to appropriate locations.

Clean and service living areas, rooms, baths, and offices.

Vacuum, Sweep, mop, wax, and polish floors.

Dust furniture and equipment.

Wash window sills.

Empty trash baskets.

Arrange furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion.

Clean and polish bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push heavy equipment at one-hour intervals without a rest. Works 1st Shift (7 AM - 3:30 PM) with a minimum of one 2nd Shift (3 PM - 11:30 PM) a week.
