Essential Duties:

Perform skilled tasks including all levels of maintenance, repairs, and overhauls as directed by leadership

Troubleshoot and diagnose all levels of Energy Services automation equipment and mechanical system failures

Optimize Energy Services equipment performance

Stay abreast of advanced pump and automation theory and maintenance

Comply with all company and customer safety and environmental policies and procedures

Comply with all other company policies and procedures

Complete appropriate paperwork as directed

Perform duties as trainer when required

Continually hone and develop electronic and computer skills

Must be highly proficient in automated and mechanical systems maintenance

Must be highly proficient in automated and mechanical systems maintenance

Must have troubleshooting skills that seldom require assistance

Should be able to diagnose electronic and mechanical control problems

Must be able to operate all types of diagnostic tools

Must have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

Should have thorough understanding of reference materials

Preferred experience in process instrumentation / SCADA

Reporting to Product Line leadership, the Automation Technician responds as necessary to provide implementation, testing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of automation equipment Requirements:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

EXPERIENCE: Must have 3-5 years of Instrumentation experience

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Driver's License, Vocational training is preferred

TRAVEL: Must be willing to travel 40% and willing to relocate, if necessary

OTHER:

Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening

Must possess a valid Driver's License

Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime (if applicable)

Able and willing to work in inclement weather, climb structures, perform work at heights, and in enclosed spaces

Able and willing to work both independently in remote locations and in a team environment
