The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for directing all aspects of inquiry management, selling and sales results. This includes independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Responsibilities include direct sales, managing team performance, the lead management system, referral development and participation in marketing events. Additionally, the Director participates in the creation of the tactical marketing plan and implementation along with the Corporate VP of Marketing and Sales. The primary focus of the role is on sales and occupancy growth and includes direct selling in addition to leading and supporting sales and marketing team members.
What will I do as a Director of Sales & Marketing:
Conducts and oversee daily management of sales operations.
Establish and adheres to sales and performance metrics.
Responds to prospective resident inquiries through incoming telephone calls, emails, mail-ins and walk-ins. Conducts interviews and tours of the community.
Conducts the annual marketing competitive analysis. Develops and executes annual marketing and sales plan in collaboration with the Vice President, Marketing and Communications.
Maintains and/or improves upon the occupancy level of the community in accordance with the sales plan and keeping track of updates and budgetary expenses.
Builds and maintains a referral network.
Executes Marketing tactical plan.
Organizes, oversees and participates in marketing events both on and off-site.
Provides oversight for the move-in process.
Develops & implements a detailed marketing and sales plan.
Approves community media plan.
Ensure departmental reports are completed in a timely manner. What this Position Requires:
Minimum education: Associate's degree
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or related field.
3 years of sales experience in the senior living industry with a focus on LifePlan, Assisted Living and Independent Living operations.
Working knowledge of sales process software and Microsoft Office.
