About this position
The CT Technologist will perform computed tomography procedures efficiently and accurately using established techniques and protocols. You'll create cross-sectional images for diagnosing medical issues, interpret physician instructions, administer contrast materials, and prepare and operate CT scan equipment while positioning patients appropriately. You will actively demonstrate Maple Grove Hospital's mission, vision, values, and guiding principles in your work.
Requirements
Education
- Graduation from an accredited radiology technology school is mandatory.
Experience
- A minimum of two years of prior experience as a CT technologist.
- Initiative-taking, self-motivated, accountable, and dependable performer.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, engaging with patients, families, and team members at all levels.
- Ability to deliver quality customer service while managing diverse personalities and situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, conveying ideas clearly and appropriately for varying audiences.
- Capable of positively resolving conflicts, being mindful of others' needs and feelings.
- Knowledge of maintaining quality, safety, and infection control standards.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; good understanding of cross-sectional anatomy is essential.
Licensure/Certification
- Must possess ARRT certification in CT or be eligible within one year of hire.
- BLS certification required.
