Job Description

The Commercial Interiors Project Superintendent - Rockville, MD will be responsible for:

As the Superintendent, you will lead the on-site coordination of all construction activities, ensuring each project is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong field expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail-particularly within high-paced tenant improvement and commercial interiors settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site operations, including subcontractor scheduling, quality assurance, and safety compliance.

Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and design teams to align on project objectives and execution.

Maintain thorough project documentation such as daily logs, schedules, and inspection reports.

Enforce job site safety protocols and proactively identify and address potential risks.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and quality standards.

Lead and facilitate on-site meetings with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.

Assist in project close-out, including punch list management and coordination of final inspections. The Successful Applicant

The Commercial Interiors Project Superintendent - Rockville, MD will have:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with a strong background in commercial interiors or tenant improvement projects.

In-depth understanding of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and project scheduling.

Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.

Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or equivalent platforms.

OSHA 30 certification is highly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to lead field teams with professionalism, accountability, and a results-driven mindset. What's on Offer
