Associate Proposal Manager & Coordinator Remote (Proximity to Colorado Springs, CO preferred) US Citizen able to obtain a Secret Clearance @Orchard LLC is supporting a fast-growing technology start-up located in Colorado Springs, focused on delivering secure, resilient 5G cellular networks, on-site edge compute, and private local cloud platforms for military and civilian use.

Our client has already deployed their software architecture, which comes housed in tamper-resistant EMP-hardened enclosures, to multiple government installations.

Furthermore, they have been recognized by, and now partner with, some of the world’s most prestigious aerospace and defense contractors.

Our client is strengthening their ability to rapidly respond to requests for proposals and task orders through the addition of an Associate Proposal Manager & Proposal Coordinator.

This is a remote, work-from-home opportunity that can be located anywhere in the United States; however, proximity to, or a willingness to relocate to, Colorado Springs is a preference.

What it means to be an Associate Proposal Manager & Coordinator · You will utilize your existing experience coordinating Federal and specifically DOD RFP and task order responses to accelerate the ability of our client to meet the growing demand for their capabilities.

· You will develop and track new opportunities as they emerge from government clients or partners and analyze the requests for suitability and viability.

· You will be the coordination point for all activities throughout the response period, including managing colleagues in the engineering and proposal teams to meet deadlines, and coordinating with teaming partners and other stakeholders.

· As the owner of the proposal process, you will manage color reviews, track content under development, and personally write, edit, and review content to ensure consistent tone and strong win themes.

· You will be on point for the development and maintenance of a repository of proposal templates and the past-performance library.

· As necessary, you will partner with technical SMEs on content reviews, pricing, writers, graphics, and e-publishers to keep everything on time and delivered to the highest levels of clarity and quality.

· Post submission and post-decision, you will conduct debrief and review exercises to learn lessons and identify opportunities for improvement, regardless of the outcome.

Your background will include.

· A minimum of 2 years working as a Proposal Coordinator for a Federal Contractor with an emphasis on Department of Defense proposal and task order responses.

· Demonstrated knowledge of supporting the full development lifecycle of RFPs, formal training, such as Shipley, would be preferred but not required.

· Demonstrated understanding of regulations and FAR/DFARS is preferred.

· Experience participating in written and oral content delivery to government clients and contract officers.

· Demonstrated experience utilizing AI technology to enhance the speed and clarity of proposal responses.

· Demonstrated advanced skills and experience utilizing both Microsoft and Google desktop publishing tools with a preference for prior Creative Cloud experience.

· Experience working in both Microsoft tools, such as SharePoint and Office, as well as Google's Suite of similar products.

· Prior experience and familiarity with RFP Management and monitoring tools, including SAM.gov.

· You must understand the deadline has to be met and be willing to go the extra mile to get things done when necessary.

· A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required if equivalent work experience is provided.

· APMP certification would be preferred but not required.

· You must be a US citizen with either an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

The base salary for the Associate Proposal Manager position will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and it is expected that the range for the role will be between $75 K - $ 115 K.
