Essential Functions
Oversees the scheduling of daily shipments and inbound shipment
Plans the scheduled day for warehouse activities.
Maintains warehouse organization.
Maintains a safe working environment in the warehouse
Maintains warehouse housekeeping
Reports any potential issues with on-time delivery
Performs physical inventories as needed.
Orders all supplies not related to maintenance as needed.
Keeps control of raw material inventory levels.
Records resin adjustments weekly
Oversees and maintains office functions like accounts payable and scheduling.
Keeps office running smoothly
Reports accounting issues as needed
Supervisory Requirements
This position does have supervisory requirements. All warehouse personnel including the shift drivers report to this position. The accounts payable clerk and the scheduler report to this position as well.
Education/Experience Requirements
A minimum of 4 years warehouse management experience or 4 years supervisory and 2 years management experience is required. A college degree is strongly recommended as well as experience in business management, purchasing, and warehouse management.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles released by the forklift. Some raw materials in the warehouse are listed as mildly hazardous. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. This is a warehouse and although the work is indoors the warehouse is not climate controlled.
