Supervise daily plating operations.
Schedule and coordinate work to meet production demands while maintaining product quality and consistency.
Monitor plating processes to ensure optimal performance and product specifications.
Enforce safety protocols.
Train, mentor, and evaluate production operators; provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
Maintain accurate records of production, quality and maintenance.
Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
Conduct regular inspections of plating equipment and coordinate maintenance for repairs as needed.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
May involve shift work, overtime, holiday work and weekend hours based on production demands.
Qualifications: College graduate/level; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electro-plating or surface finishing operations.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of plating processes such as electroplating, waste water treatment, fume scrubber and water treatment.
Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations related to plating operations.
Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
