Job Description

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Flint, MI! This is a 5 months contract role offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist II

Location: 4040 S Linden Rd, Flint, MI 48507

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $25/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric

Collect specimens with accuracy and safety following standard operating procedures

Accurately label and verify patient specimens at the time of collection

Maintain a professional, clean, and safe environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines

Provide excellent customer service, building rapport and trust with patients

Handle confidential patient information with discretion and integrity

Document collections, patient information, and specimen tracking in system databases

Travel as needed to cover multiple sites or Patient Service Centers (PSCs) with minimal notice

Follow all Quest policies including dress code, safety protocols, and customer service expectations

Demonstrate leadership behaviors and process excellence

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience (inclusive of peds/geriatric)

Experience must include venipuncture for pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles and 20-25 minutes of commute are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
