HVAC Technician

Job Description

Duties will consist of maintaining and fixing units for Austin apartments. Completion of an accredited HVAC vocational class is required. Technician must have their own tools. Technician will also be required to perform work related to fixing and troubleshooting issues relating to apartment upkeep. Schedule consists of Monday through Friday 9am-6pm, and some after hour emergency calls.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.

Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

Build and modify HVAC components as needed for system upgrades or repairs.

Repair appliances (Fridge, Washer/Dryer, Stove, etc)

Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure timely completion of projects.

Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.

Adhere to safety protocols while working with refrigerants and electrical components.

Requirements

mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics.

Minimum experience of either 2-3year

Completion of accredited HVAC vocational class

Familiarity with refrigeration principles and basic electrical knowledge

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Valid Texas driver's license Company Description
