THIS IS A THIRD SHIFT POSITION

We process and pack a large amount of fresh produce for high-end and discount chain stores, as well as food service and manufacturing accounts. We are looking for a 3RD SHIFT production/sanitation manager (approx. start time around 4pm). As such, you will be responsible for the following:

Manage some production activities of 2nd shift, and all sanitation activities of our third shift, which is composed of about 20 personnel.

Assign people to various production and sanitation duties

Assure that our customers' orders are produced in a quality, timely, and efficient fashion

Insure that production lines are running efficiently, and make modifications/improvements as required

Evaluate employees on a regular basis, and discipline when required

Assure that inventory is used according to plan, and that only high-quality products are produced from it

Assure that all equipment and production spaces are clean and sanitized post-production, and ready to go for the next day's crew.

Skills needed/Other requirements:

At least 3 years successful leadership experience in the food manufacturing industry

HACCP/food safety expertise

5-day/wk. schedule comprising roughly 45-50 hours

Must be able to work in a 40 degree cooler
