Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Trains on performing repairs for various production departments’ machinery.

Trains on measuring with calipers and micrometers.

Trains on operating saws, drill presses, lathes, and milling machines.

Performs increased machining tasks and more complex repairs over time.

Transitions to a role such as Machinist/Mechanic or Machine Set-Up/Operator in various departments after completion of training program (which could last up to 18 months).

Job Requirements:

Must have mechanical ability

Must have good visual attentiveness

Knowledge of, and experience using, equipment such as drill press, grinders, lathes, and/or milling machines preferred

High School diploma

Job Details:

Reports to Department Manager

Full-time, Hourly employee

First shift; 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
