Key Job Elements

• Actively promotes, participates and supports the facility safety initiatives

• Leads, coaches, and manages performance of facility personnel; provides them with daily work

assignments; monitors productivity in all areas.

• Manages schedules of PRS employees and forecasts overtime requirements.

• Oversees and ensures machinery and equipment are scheduled and services per manufactures guidelines and timelines.

• Ensures safety performance of shop personnel.

• Resolves performance, productivity, and efficiency issues.

• Prepares information and participates in meetings with management to determine strategic objectives.

• Ensures completion of proper record keeping, including Maintenance, quality, production, and safety.

• Performs additional job-related duties as assigned.

Education / Training

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of business functions, such as manufacturing, production, quality, maintenance, safety, etc.

Qualifications and Experience

• Railcar dismantling and or experience in metals reclamation and recycling a plus

• Experience supervising a workforce maintaining work standards and task completion; works well with

very little supervision.

• Experience managing outcome-based activities where participants are graded on performance.

• High level of communication skills, both written and oral.

• Focused on continuous process improvement with experience with Lean or Six Sigma.

• Open to change; flexible with ability to switch responsibilities daily, as needed in highly diversified duties

• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• Understanding of company policies and documentation.
