Job Purpose
The Networking team intern will focus on our SDWAN Implementation project and will be instrumental in assisting with the design, implementation and documentation of our SDWAN infrastructure. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science or Network Engineering, who have a strong interest in networking and are eager to gain practical experience with SDWAN technologies. Additionally, the intern will support various networking tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our network operations.

Key Job Elements
Minimum duties and responsibilities:
• Assist in the configuration and maintenance of SDWAN infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and optimize SDWAN settings.
• Support network operations and troubleshoot issues under supervision.
• Collaborate with IT teams to provide network solutions that align with business needs.
Advanced duties and responsibilities.
• Participate in network upgrades and migrations.
• Document network architecture, design, and procedures.
• Evaluate new network technologies and products to enhance efficiency.
Education / Training
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
• Basic Linux skills
• Interest or foundational knowledge in networking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications and Experience
Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with networking protocols and principles.
• Basic understanding of SDWAN concept.
• Experience with network monitoring tools is a plus.
