Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $31.00 to $47.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Administer and process semi-monthly payroll while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Audit payroll functions, regularly verifying employee data for accuracy and consistency.

Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to the Finance team in a timely manner.

Maintain and update employee records within HRIS and physical files for proper documentation.

Oversee employee benefits administration, including health insurance, 401(k), and leave programs. Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

Have 5-7+ years of experience in payroll processing, including job costing.

Possess 3-5+ years of experience in human resources administration.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of Federal and California Wage and Hour laws for payroll compliance.

Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Qualifications:

Display excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail in payroll and benefits administration.

Maintain outstanding written and verbal communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration.

Uphold a high degree of integrity and the ability to manage confidential employee information.

Show strong interpersonal and customer service skills when addressing payroll and benefits inquiries.

Apply independent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to improve payroll processes.
