Essential Functions

Effectively communicate position opportunity and client value proposition

Work with the Recruiting Manager, HR team and business partners to discuss experience and qualifications needed per position.

Ensure the recruiting process is followed by coaching all parties involved in the hiring process.

Identify and attend various recruiting events to include college and military career fairs, new hire orientations, and other events as needed or identified.

Identify & communicate continuous improvement opportunities and strategies

Follow agreed client recruitment process for recruitment delivery

Candidate relationship management

Effectively communicate position opportunity and client value proposition

Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline

Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings

Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms

Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices

Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process

Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

3+ years of experience with demonstrated success in staffing or corporate recruiting

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, well organized, and be able to manage several requisitions at a time.

Experience with all phases of the recruitment life-cycle.

Experience/ability to manage the recruitment process from initial request, to working with the business to develop a staffing strategy, to final candidate selection and on-boarding.

Candidate should be proficient with Social Media (to include Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), CareerBuilder, cold-calling, resume screening. Well versed in various sourcing methods including Boolean search strings, sourcing tools, user groups, networking, and cold calling candidates to generate interest.

Must be self-disciplined, structured, possess strong communication and follow-up

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Comfortable making decisions independently

Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems

Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
