CNC Machine Operator - Bridgeview

Join our team as a CNC Machining Center Operator, where you'll be responsible for precise setups, layouts, and operations on a variety of machine tools. In this role, you will interpret technical documents, configure equipment, and ensure product quality through accurate machining and inspection processes.

Responsibilities:

Review blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, or samples to establish dimensions, tolerances, and setup procedures.

Mark dimensions and reference points on parts or materials as a guide for further machining.

Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, tools, and materials on machines, including mills, lathes, and grinders.

Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations and adjust controls as necessary.

Verify that finished parts meet specifications and quality standards.

Support maintenance efforts with diagnostics, repairs, and preventative upkeep.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Ensure safe operations by adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a CNC operator.

Proficiency in English (spoken and comprehension).

Completion of a machinist apprenticeship program or similar training.

Experience with Mori Seki, Okuma, and Haas machines is a plus.

Solid understanding of tool geometry and feed and speed effects.
