Job Description:
Perform CFD analysis on gas turbine components using Fluent, focusing on fluid flow and heat transfer.
Develop and implement CFD models, running simulations to predict and improve component performance.
Validate and verify CFD models by comparing results with experimental data and theoretical predictions.
Identify key design parameters and constraints for simulation studies, ensuring accurate and relevant results.
Optimize designs and processes based on simulation outcomes to enhance efficiency and overall performance.
Provide design improvement recommendations based on in-depth CFD analysis.
Analyze simulation data, interpret results, and draw meaningful conclusions for project stakeholders.
Prepare detailed reports, technical papers, and presentations to effectively communicate findings.
Collaborate with engineers and scientists to integrate CFD results into broader project workflows.
Experience with Teamcenter is a plus, streamlining project and data management processes.
Experience with CFD analysis related to steam turbine components is also preferred. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree (BE/B.Tech/M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized college/university.
7+ years of experience in CFD analysis, particularly focused on gas turbine components.
Proficiency in Fluent for CFD analysis, with expertise in fluid flow and heat transfer.
Strong experience in developing and validating CFD models.
Ability to optimize designs and processes based on CFD results.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings clearly and effectively.
Strong collaboration skills, with experience in integrating CFD analysis into multidisciplinary projects
