Integrated Multi-disciplinary Studios. Role Overview:

The mission of this position is to reinforce and advance RTM's excellence in the building technology systems field through producing design solutions for building systems. This is a project-facing role.

Key Responsibilities:

Gain and apply building technology systems knowledge

Perform elementary structured cabling, wireless communications, audiovisual, and electronic security systems design tasks under the supervision of a senior designer or consultant

Coordinate with in-house and third-party mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineers and other design professionals

Support and administer design through construction contract administration (CCA) activities

Engage in design process, workflow, and production asset improvement Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years' experience in designing building technology systems

College Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred

Gains and demonstrates a basic knowledge of design of structured cabling, wireless communications, audiovisual, and electronic security systems

Gains and demonstrates a basic knowledge of construction means and methods relating to structured cabling, wireless communications, audiovisual, and electronic security systems Preferred Skills:

Team-oriented, professional, self-starter with a positive attitude and multi-tasking capability.
