Data Collection Moderator (AirPod)

ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

We are looking to hire 4 onsite Data Collection Moderators, each fluent in one of the following languages: Spanish, French, German, or Mandarin. The role is based in Cupertino, with a 5-day workweek.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

• Moderate two participants in a room using AirPods to record dialogue

• Guide participants through scripted but natural-sounding dialogue scenarios

• Ensure discussions stay within defined topics

• Occasionally step in as a participant if one is absent

• Recruit participants and manage sessions

• Set up or use pre-configured devices

First Day:

• Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) will provide guidance

• Moderator will manage and observe a session between two participants

This is an onsite role requiring strong communication skills and comfort with light technical setup.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

• Near-native fluency in Spanish, French, German, or Mandarin

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to follow structured protocols and maintain consistency across sessions

• Comfortable with basic tech setup

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Adaptable to live session needs, including stepping in when a participant is missing

• Ability to create a calm, engaging environment for participants

NICE TO HAVES

• Previous experience in user research, data collection, or language moderation

• Familiarity with scripted dialogue or roleplay sessions
