About the Role
Culmen International is hiring an Electrical Engineer (Journeyman) to provide support for the Research Directorate at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and will be onsite in Lakehurst, NJ.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst (LKE) Mission Operations & Integration (MO&I) Department. NAWCAD LKE is the lead activity responsible for Navy Aircraft Platform Support Equipment (SE), Aircraft Launch Recovery Equipment (ALRE), and provides support to additional Joint Service, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The successful execution of these efforts results in logistics, engineering, and cyber work products for each aircraft and associated support systems.

What You'll Do in Your New Role
Will support, design, develop, and test electrical systems and components to meet project specifications and industry standards
Create detailed electrical schematics, conducting simulations
Perform analysis to ensure system reliability and effeciency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers
Integrate electrical solutions into larger systems
Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Effective communication and documentation of technical information is crucial
Prepare reports, manuals, and presentations
Present information / presentations to stakeholders and clients Required Qualifications
3+ years experience in electrical engineering
BS Degree in Engineering, or related scientific or technical discipline
Active Secret Clearance Desired Qualifications
