Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Water Resources Manager to their team in Houston!
Responsibilities:
Serve as team leader
Identify Water Resources opportunities and assist with development of expansion plan
Manage project scope, schedule, and budget
Lead the development of Hydrologic/Hydraulic models of municipal storm sewer/sanitary collection systems
Prepare Drainage Studies/Stormwater Masterplans, analysis/design of municipal Stormwater facilities (open channels, culverts, storm sewers, detention basins, green infrastructure), and design of plans/specifications
Perform QC of stormwater models, reports, and/or design
Responsible for local, state, and federal permitting
Prepare proposals and participate in client interviews
Represent company at municipal meetings Requirements:
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on water resources engineering preferred
8+ years of experience in the design/management of Stormwater projects
Experience in Consulting Engineering, Public Works, or Construction
PE License
Basic principles of infrastructure design/plan preparation knowledge
Extensive knowledge of hydrology/hydraulics in the Houston area
Technical writing skills
Ability to travel through Houston area with own transportation
Salary is commensurate with experience.
