Part-Time Audit Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Audit Senior or Audit Manager from public accounting to join our client's team in Greenville, SC. This role offers a flexible, 32-hour workweek over 4 days and the opportunity for a hybrid schedule once initial onboarding is complete. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in auditing, a passion for mentoring, and a commitment to staying ahead of evolving industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee audit processes to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Conduct internal reviews of audit files to ensure adherence to firm policies and industry best practices.

Lead and contribute to the development of firm-wide policies and procedures.

Train and mentor new audit staff.

Research and communicate updates on new accounting and auditing standards.

Support audit teams by providing technical guidance and solutions for complex audit matters.

Collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement in audit processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

3+ years of experience in public accounting or audit-focused roles required, 7+ years can also be a fit.

Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
