This position will support the TAPR (Transmission Asset Performance and Renewal) function’s budgeting and financial responsibilities including the creation, management, and oversight of equipment failure, spare procurement, and other capital investment programs the TAPR function owns, manages, and supports. This role will support project creation in IRR, EcoSys, and Maximo to support AEP’s necessary investment plans.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

Ownership of annual budget, capital forecasts, five-year plan and improvement requisitions for Spares, Failures, and other programs TAPR owns.

Monthly financial reporting for programs under management.

Regulatory support for Spares and Failure Programs.

Support regional engineering and field support teams with failure and standalone project creation and initial forecasting.

Perform varied assignments demonstrating technical knowledge and analytical techniques to solution of problems or analysis.

Assist in the preparation of technical reports and papers.

Apply problem-solving skills to resolve technical problems and initiate solution techniques.

Work with others in both supplying information and seeking assistance as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

Coordinator (SG-006) : ($72,380 - $90,475)

Education requirements are listed below:

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college or an associate's technical degree and 3 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.

Work Experience requirement listed below:

Typically requires a minimum of three years of experience in work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge.

Coordinator Sr (SG-007) :($85,081 - $106,354)

Education requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college or an associate's technical degree and 6 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.

Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge

Other Requirements:

Familiarity or willingness to learn tools such as: IRR, ECOSYS, COGNOS, Power BI, and Maximo.

Demonstrate an attitude and desire to listen to and satisfy both internal and external customers who use and depend upon our work.

Must be available to work some overtime, as required.

Compensation Range:

$72,380.00-90,474.50 USD
