Are you an experienced Commercial Project Manager looking to join an industry-leading company with a reputation for excellence and innovation? Our client, a top-tier General Contractor headquartered in San Francisco, is seeking a talented professional to lead complex commercial projects in San Jose, CA. This General Contractor is a prestigious & established firm with 75+ years of success in the construction industry. They build exciting & diverse projects to include Mixed-use, Residential, Seismic Renovation, Commercial Office, Education & Life Science.
Your new role
Project Leadership - Serve as the key liaison between clients, architects, consultants, and site teams on $50m+ Ground up commercial projects
Innovative Construction Methods - Implement smart solutions to enhance efficiency & quality
Project Scheduling & Documentation - Maintain schedules, contracts, change orders, reports, and compliance materials
Cost Control & Budget Management - Track and manage financial aspects, ensuring profitability & cost-effectiveness
On-Site Coordination - Work closely with subcontractors and teams to ensure smooth execution and high safety standards
Problem-Solving & Execution - Handle production challenges with proactive and strategic solutions. What you'll need to succeed
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related discipline
Experience: Minimum 10 years' construction experience running projects in the $50m+ range
Budget management, contract review and scheduling experience using MS projects
Project buyout and value engineering experience
Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills with strong
Tech-savvy - Procore, P6, Bluebeam, MS Projects
