Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development: Strategically plan and manage the workforce across utility units, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment. Champion employee development through targeted coaching and training programs.
Maintenance Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, ensuring that budgets are adhered to and performance standards are met. Oversee renovation requests and manage procurement processes.
Investment Oversight: Craft and manage annual investment strategies, evaluating facility enhancement techniques and overseeing construction documentation. Facilitate new facility quotations and manage procurement for construction projects.
Facility Assessment & Support: Conduct regular facility inspections, troubleshoot operational anomalies, and maintain detailed historical records. Enhance operational efficiency through strategic planning and manual management.
Energy Efficiency Initiatives: Analyze equipment energy consumption, identify opportunities for savings, and monitor monthly performance to ensure optimal energy use.
Regulatory Compliance: Lead the response to government inspections, ensuring all mechanical facilities meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Audit & Improvement: Develop and maintain compliance documentation, addressing non-conformities and implementing corrective actions to meet PSM/ISO standards.
Project Management: Oversee mechanical facility construction and part procurement, ensuring all projects meet quality standards and are completed on time.
Emergency Preparedness: Design and conduct emergency response training for various scenarios, ensuring readiness and safety at all times. What We're Looking For
A degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
6-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong preference for those familiar with utility equipment.
Certification in gas boiler and NMP is a plus.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with a preference for skills in AutoCAD or similar software.
