Director IT Digital Development Location: Fort Wayne, IN Level: Salaried Company - Division: Do it Best - IT Reports to: VP of IT & CIO Travel: TBD About the Role: The Director of Digital Development plays a critical role in leveraging data and technology to drive business value and enhance digital capabilities. This position champions digital transformation by fostering a data-driven culture, optimizing digital products, and ensuring seamless integration of modern technologies. The Director collaborates with business leaders and development teams to align digital initiatives with strategic objectives, improve decision-making through data insights, and enhance customer experiences through innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate seamless collaboration between business teams, stakeholders, and IT to develop and implement technology solutions that enhance user experience, drive revenue growth, and optimize operational efficiency.
Oversee digital product development initiatives, ensuring rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
Lead efforts to leverage data, AI, cloud-native solutions and automation to drive innovation and business value.
Manage and mentor Development Managers, Product Owners, and cross-functional Agile teams.
Collaborate with business units to align digital initiatives with customer needs and strategic objectives.
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the success of digital innovation projects.
Develop and manage roadmaps for digital transformation initiatives, tracking progress and impact.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in Agile methodologies, digital product development, and IT leadership.
Retail and ecommerce experience highly preferred
Strong experience in managing cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Expertise in modern technology trends, AI, cloud platforms, DevOps, and digital transformation frameworks.
Proven ability to drive innovation and manage complex technology initiatives
Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
