Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. You will be responsible for incoming inspection tasks and ensuring quality control standards are met.
Responsibilities
Conduct detailed inspections using blueprints, micrometers, and calipers.
Perform visual inspections and document control.
Ensure quality checks on received materials and parts.
Interact with customers to maintain good relations.
Follow detailed procedures with limited guidance.
Lift cartons up to 50 lbs and be physically active for 8 hours.
Unpack and repack goods as necessary.
Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Work flexible hours as required.
Essential Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of inspection experience.
Previous quality control and customer service experience.
Broad knowledge of quality control practices and design principles.
Basic PC and MS Office skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with inspection tools such as blueprints, micrometers, and calipers.
Experience in shipping and receiving inspection.
SAP ERP knowledge is a plus.

Work Environment
This position is within a large manufacturing company, primarily based in a large warehouse where inspection work is conducted. You will have your own work cell and may need to travel to New Hampshire for training, especially within the first three weeks. The role requires being on your feet for extended periods.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.66 - $27.66/hr.
