Responsibilities
The general scope of this position’s responsibility is to focus on daily production quality testing, returned material testing, R&D testing, and drive improvements of the testing protocol. Review daily quality & process records for accuracy and advise proper personnel when discrepancies in records and specifications occur. Report any incomplete information to proper personnel. Maintain all QC test equipment through the calibration the program. Support Supplier quality as well as internal audits as required.
Review daily quality and process records (hard copies and SQC Pack Database)
Support continuous training to shift QC Technicians
Review suspect material with production to determine disposition
Support LEQ hold reduction efforts
Assist in production trial testing and reporting results
Create material internal deviations as required
Maintain measuring devices, calibration and records.
Act as back up in creating customer COA/COC
Assist in internal audits (GMP/ISO)
Maintain QC Lab and test equipment 6s activities
Back up QC Technician tasks as required
Perform other tasks as assigned by Quality Manager
Qualifications
Ability to understand/communicate English in oral and written form.
Good communication/interpersonal skills.
Computer skills in Excel, Word, etc.
Ability to drive a neat and orderly workspace.
Possess good organizational skills (record keeping and filing).
Understanding of cast film processes
Knowledge of resins used in facility.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to read, write, hear and speak English proficiently
1 – 3 year’s on-the-job experience.
