We're looking for a new team member to oversee all elements of production-including audio, video, lighting, media, and live broadcasting-with the goal of creating worship environments where people can encounter Jesus without distraction. Your leadership will support weekend services, student gatherings, and special events, helping communicate the hope of the gospel through excellence and creativity. Bonus if you also bring communications chops to help elevate our storytelling and messaging across platforms.
As a spiritual leader on our team, you won't just run tech-you'll disciple volunteers, model a Christ-centered life, and use your gifts to support the mission of helping people find and follow Jesus.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead the execution of all technical elements for Sunday services and church events: audio, lighting, video, slides/media, and livestream.
Recruit, train, and schedule all production volunteers.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade equipment in all production and technical spaces.
Creatively design and install stage sets as needed.
Cultivate a life-giving team environment that is upbeat, encouraging, and Christ-centered.
Oversee student production, helping equip and develop student production volunteers.
Shepherd the spiritual growth of those you lead by modeling biblical values, offering prayer and encouragement, and pointing others toward Jesus in every setting-from the tech booth to team gatherings.
Support other departments as needed in video content creation or communications tasks (if applicable).
Perform other duties as assigned by the Worship Pastor. For Bonus Points:
You bring a "whatever-it-takes" mindset to Sunday mornings.
You know better than to stick a screwdriver in the power amp (again).
You've got opinions on the Allen & Heath vs. Yamaha debate and think Dante crashing should be a support group. WHO YOU ARE
2+ years of technical production experience in a church setting.
Comfortable with Apple OS and confident navigating digital workflows.
Working knowledge of Yamaha audio consoles, LightKey (or similar lighting software), and signal flow.
A clear communicator and team player who can stay cool under pressure.
Flexible, adaptable, and quick to solve problems in live environments.
Eager to grow spiritually and professionally under mentorship.
A champion of Lake Sawyer's mission, vision, and values. WORK PERKS
When you join the Lake Sawyer team, our prayer is that your family will be closer, your leadership stronger, your faith deeper, and your heart larger. And while the biggest perk is doing work that makes an eternal impact, we also offer:
Flexible paid time off
Health insurance
Generous 403(b) employer match
Wellness program reimbursement
Casual dress code
A fun-loving, Jesus-centered staff who love to ski, hike, game, jam, eat good food, and do life together.
