Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dispatch Supervisor to join our Central Transport Service Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a customer service mindset and a strong background in dispatch and team coordination.

What You'll Do:

Supervise and coordinate daily patient transport operations to ensure timely and safe transfers.

Assign and dispatch transport staff efficiently while optimizing workflows.

Manage department calls and provide clear communication for transport needs.

Monitor service line activities, identifying areas for operational improvement.•

Ensure strict compliance with hospital safety protocols and procedures.•

Maintain administrative oversight, tracking performance metrics and ensuring departmental goals are met. Tagged as: dispatch, inpatient transport

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

College Degree Preferred (or relevant experience).

Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Previous dispatch or transport experience preferred.

Proficiency in computer systems & data entry (EPIC EMR experience is a plus!).

Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital procedures.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Availability to work alternating weekends and holidays. What We Offer:
