Drive/operate fork truck, tugger and/or cherry picker in a fast-paced warehousing and shipping environment.
Organize & stock material to meet warehousing requirements and inventory control in a timely manner.
Utilize electronic interface equipment to pick and store material as needed.
Escalate all scan faults to your supervisor including (but not exclusively) no stocks, failed scans or bad serial number.
Meet timing requirements for efficient processing of materials to achieve expectations.
Store all material in proper locations.
Maintain height standards for storage of materials
Sort and process dunnage for efficient storage and return to supply base.
Accurately count and record dunnage received and shipped
Maintain storage standards for height and location
Organize and maintain general storage areas
Ensure all material is stably stacked
Report all container degradation to supervisor or management
Maintain a safe and clear access to all doorways and foot traffic areas.
Adheres to all safety rules

Adhere to all safety standards for dock safety
Practice safe driving practices to maintain visibility
Adhere to safe practices while stacking and unstacking to avoid spills'
Observe and report maintenance issues on powered industrial trucks,
Perform pre-operations check lists and report findings on proper forms.
Support plant wide material organization and housekeeping goals.
Adhere to FIFO guidelines to ensure proper rotation of all material
Participate in plant inventories and material reorganization activity, as required.
Maintain powered industrial truck certification, and attend update training, as needed.
Remove cardboard to the bailer area.
Bail cardboard and place bails in appropriate storage trailer locations and enforce recycling programs.
Operation of certain electronic equipment required (scanners, tablets, etc.)
Document all activities as required.
Adhere to all company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation to ensure employee safety.
Report all accidents or observed property damage to supervision immediately

Advise Department Manager of those situations that may pose a significant risk to the program, product assurance, facilities, and employee safety or customer satisfaction results.
Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process & systems.
Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process or system.
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through the appropriate channels and verify implementation.
Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency is corrected. Basic Education, Experience and Skills Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Good written and mathematical skills.
Basic computer skills required
Good communication and team working skills.
Powered Industrial Truck Certification.
Familiar with quality specifications and documentation in an automotive environment a plus.

Must be able to tolerate working at heights up to twenty-five (25) feet.
