Journeyman Information Technology (IT) Project Manager with Security

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Journeyman IT Project Manager to join our team at Eglin AFB, supporting mission-critical programs within the Department of Defense (DoD). This position plays a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing IT projects to ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget. Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation to completion, within a government environment. Coordinate with stakeholders, including military, civilian, and contractor personnel, to gather requirements and define project objectives. Develop project plans, schedules, and performance metrics. Track progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure projects adhere to DoD regulations, cybersecurity protocols, and change management processes. Provide regular updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders. Support infrastructure upgrades, software/hardware deployments, and system integrations. Utilize project management tools and software to manage documentation and track milestones. Required Qualifications:

Active Top Secret Clearance (must be maintained throughout employment) Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field Minimum of 3-5 years of IT project management experience, preferably in a DoD or federal environment Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience managing cross-functional teams and working in high-security environments Preferred Qualifications:

PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification Experience with DoD acquisition lifecycle and IT compliance standards (RMF, NIST, etc.) Familiarity with Air Force or Eglin AFB IT systems and infrastructure Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices Work Environment:

On-site at Eglin AFB; some hybrid/remote flexibility may be considered based on mission needs Fast-paced, high-security setting with collaborative teams and clearances required for daily operations
