Shift: 7pm to 7:30am every other weekend; no on call requirements

Duration: 13 weeks

Scope of role: Medical patients with Heparin drips, managing diabetic patients, wounds, COPD and pneumonia patients and patients with fistulas needing dialysis, surgical patients: colectomies, orthopedic cases and podiatry cases as well as GYN and general surgery patients. Pediatric patients

Patient Ratios: 1:6

Number of Beds in Unit: 26 Medical beds and 20 surgical beds, staff work between both units

Monthly Department Volume: 582 patient days per month Job Requirements

BLS required

PALS & ACLS preferred

Medical, surgical, and PEDS experience

1 year at a minimum Med/Surg Schedule Information

Shift: 7pm to 7:30am every other weekend; no on call requirements Unit Specific Information

Candidate may be asked to float to other units in the hospital not to take a team but assist as needed with IV's, or other patient care needs. Additional Details
